Our Mission
The Dance Cooperative is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We are committed to nurturing the dance community by providing affordable classes, rehearsal space, and performance opportunities to those under-served artistically, culturally, and economically in the greater Wilmington area. All donations are tax deductible. To give your time, talent or financial support, please contact us at the studio.

How We Came To Be
The Dance Cooperative was founded in May 2001 by Nancy Podrasky Carson, Anne Firmender, Erika Meyerson, Suzanne Palmer, Harper Piver and Leslie Riley Searcy who are bound together by the common goal of fostering a link between professional dance artists and our community.
How To Find Us
Our classes are located within the YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina at both the Nir Family YMCA (2710 Market Street) and Midtown YMCA (709 George Anderson Dr.) We also have an afterschool program at GLOW Academy.
